Soke Education Trust Leaders Collaborate to Enhance Pupil Premium Strategy
Earlier this month, senior leaders from our Trust came together to review evidence-based research and write their pupil premium strategy. This shared effort showcased our values of collaboration and inspiration.
The SET Up session was one of the many workshops that we hold across the year to develop our leader’s expertise and followed external audits of the trust's use of pupil premium funding, conducted by consultant Phil Abbot of Shaun Jarvis Education. Our leaders used this opportunity to delve into the latest research and evidence from the EEF, ensuring every school’s approach to supporting disadvantaged pupils is informed by best practices.
"It was a fantastic afternoon of collaboration," said Elaine Crane, our Director of Education. "We're committed to using the pupil premium funding in the most effective way possible to make a real difference for our pupils and we were able to draw on the strengths and improvement points of the audits to ensure we are making an impact"
By coming together, our trust leaders were able to share insights, discuss challenges, and develop a cohesive strategy to address the unique needs of their diverse pupil population.
The collaborative session allowed us to align our vision and ensure consistency across our school so that we can be confident that the strategies we've developed will have a positive impact on the outcomes of our disadvantaged pupils."
At SET we are focused on implementing evidence-based practices and data-driven decision-making. We are committed to continuous improvement to providing the best possible education for all our pupils.
