Operations Network
Autumn 1 Operations Network
Recently, our Operations Teams met for their networking session, an opportunity to foster collaboration – one of our core values – and exchange knowledge. The network was a valuable opportunity to address key operational matters and enhance our collective efficacy.
During the meeting training was delivered by our Finance Manager, Cheryl Hinton. Her session focused on the importance of accurate Purchase Order completion, a fundamental aspect of our financial processes. Our discussions also encompassed the crucial topic of Related Party transactions and the proper procedures for completing these transactions with the utmost transparency and compliance.
We conducted a thorough review of our recent audit process which allowed us to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to our operational procedures.
Following our recent Health & Safety audits, we discussed how we can conduct Driving for Work checks. This proactive measure underscores our unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our staff and pupils alike.
Finally, we had a really productive & open discussion about the use of our Every platform for managing contracts, assessing our collective knowledge and identifying potential training needs.
By refining our processes, enhancing our skills, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, we are laying the foundation for sustained success across the Soke Education Trust.
I am extremely grateful to the Operations Team for their dedication and collaborative spirit.
